Erika and Rich's Engagement Portrait Session – Washington, DC

Last weekend I drove up to Washington, DC to photograph this lovely couple’s engagement portraits. I am photographing Erika’s bridal portraits later this month at the beautiful Clover Forest Plantation and Erika and Rich’s wedding in October at the Salisbury Country Club. I am so honored that I get to document so much of this special time in their lives!

We started out our portrait session at Meridian Hill Park in Washington, DC. It is a picturesque and peaceful park located within the city. We finished out the session in Georgetown where we walked the streets, which are full of character, and ended up on the lawn of Georgetown University. It was a fun day and we even got to see the presidential motorcade as we drove through the city!

The stairs below are the Georgetown Stairs, located near M Street. They are also known as the “Exorcist Stairs” because a key scene in the movie “The Exorcist” was filmed there. While “The Exorcist” doesn’t scream love and happiness, it is a cool location that is very “DC.” Engagement Portraits, Washington DC

Check back to see the rest of Erika and Rich’s special moments!
